In preparation for a gig, my Jazz/Fusion band Kavorka got together to run through some set lists. One standard that we do is a version of Bessy’s Blues by John Coltrane. I should also note that previous to this jam… we hadn’t rehearsed since early November.
I’ve loved jazz and fusion for many years but never really had the chance to try and play it until we formed this little trio. And playing this stuff is something I love dearly.
